Miso Salmon (Cheesecake Factory)

This is my husband's favorite meal.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 2 tablespoons miso (I found this at an oriental store in Provo)
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • cooking spray
  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Combine first 4 ingredients, stirring with a whisk. (I usually end up doubling the sauce.)
  3. Arrange fish in a shallow baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  4. Spoon miso mixture evenly over fish.
  5. Broil 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, basting twice with miso mixture.
  6. Serve over white rice. Pour a little more sauce over the top.
